I want to work this year at being the best player I can be. I want to grow, learn, and continue working on the bond between my teammates and me. I feel like Glen Rose has a more positive and uplifting attitude that is better than most schools. COACHES CORNER: One of my favorite memories was when coach Mathis would get voice cracks, and it would make everyone laugh!

I want to continue improving my defense and weak areas on the court. I want to be aware of my court surroundings and be more assertive in play calling. Come watch me accomplish this! I believe Positivity, Confidence, and Constructive Criticism sets us apart from most programs. We are a family and not afraid of working towards improvement. COACHES CORNER: My freshman year we were playing Stephenville, and we were down in the second set 24-7. I went in to serve, and Coach Turner told me to just do my best. I ended up tying the game 24-24, which is crazy! This was one of the things that triggered a Stress Fracture in my L5 Vertebrae. Coach Turner and I have an ongoing joke about how I put my Blood, Sweat, and Bones into that game. (yes, we won that set!!)

My goals for myself this year is to be more versatile and for the team I want to win every game. As a team, we are all very strong minded. We know what we want and strive to achieve it. COACHES CORNER: I will never forget when Coach Mathis got pushed into the pool during two-a-days!

My plan for this year is to go in with a mindset of winning and coming out strong even though we lost a lot of players. Losing senior playmakers doesn't mean we give up. We keep getting better to be just like them or even better! What makes us stand apart? Volleyball girls don't like to have problems. If we have problems with someone else, it doesn't exist on the team. As a team, we are family, and I think we are held to a high expectation of being respectful and setting a good example for other athletes. This is exactly what we have been doing and will continue to do! COACHES CORNER: One thing I'll never forget about Coach Langford is when she sat me on the bench at our scrimmage and started acting like me when I mess up on the court. She mimicked my facial expression, and I realized how silly I really looked. I couldn't help but laugh about it with her.!

This year I want to get mentally tougher. I want to focus and help this team to get farther this year. What makes us stand out? We are super competitive! We work together well with discipline and integrity. COACHES CORNER: During two-a-days my junior year, we pushed Coach Mathis in the pool fully clothed! After graduation, I want to attend Weatherford College and pursue a career in esthetics. I would like to thank my mommy for always believing in me and encouraging me to never give up.

This year I want to help my team defensively and always be loud and play aggressive. This year I want our team to win first in our district! My team and I keep positive attitudes which helps with communication on and off the court! My teammates and I all have good sportsmanship towards others as well.

This year I want to find where I want to continue my volleyball career in college. I also want to help my team succeed in making it to the regional tournament. Glen Rose is all about family. We all have a family bond and treat each the same as we treat our families. COACHES CORNER: I will never forget when I had a wig on and almost made Coach Langford throw up from the wig's hairball!

GOALS: I want to win out our district and personally be a strong and reliable hitter. Our sportsmanship and dedication to the program helps us to stand out amongst other programs across the state. COACHES CORNER: I love how we do the Lord’s Prayer as a team after every practice and game. After graduation next May, I plan to go to Weatherford college to become a radiology technician I would like to thank my parents for all the time they have put in to making me the player I am today. I thank all of my coaches for always pushing me to be my best and always believing in me 100%.

This year I want to work hard on the little things. I want to accomplish being able to consistently swing line or cross. I continually strive to make friendships and encourage one another. I want to become a starter by the end of the season! Attitude, dedication, and discipline is what makes our school stand out from the rest. COACHES CORNER: For a while, Coach Turner wouldn’t stop calling me Cali even after I corrected her on purpose. I think she did it on purpose!

My goal is to be district champions and return to the regional tournament What sets our team apart? We always have a drive to win in any game or scenario and overall, we are just very competitive COACHES CORNER: Coach Chavez throws the ball at me anytime I'm not paying attention. Do I need it? Probably so...

My goals this year include being a better teammate and having a great attitude. This Glen Rose program has a winning atmosphere and winning attitude. All around, win or lose, there will never be a lack of giving our hearts out to this program! COACHES CORNER: How about that time when Coach Mathis fell in the pool!

What kind of goals do I have this year? I would like to make it to the State tournament. I want to accomplish swinging faster and snapping. I want to be able to press and make sure I am getting a touch on every ball. What sets this team apart? I think encouraging each other and having good work ethic really shows compared to others. COACHES CORNER: Something that Coach Langford always has to tell me is to open my hand, I’m going to get it I promise!

This year, I would like to see myself and my teammates grow and be the best athletes we can be. My personal goal for this year is to be an encouraging leader, vocally and by example. This season, I want to make it back to the Regional Tournament and go farther than last year. Glen Rose volleyball stands out in many ways, but what stands out the most is each of our mentalities and our "no excuses" mindset. We also play volleyball with the next ball in mind, always looking forward and not dwelling on our mistakes. COACHES CORNER: When we aren't focused in practice Coach Chavez helps us regain focus by throwing balls at us and it always works! After graduation, I plan on going to college to play volleyball, somewhere small. I want to play for a couple of years then focus on my career and on getting a job. I would like to say thank you to Mrs. Stegint. She was my third-grade teacher, and I still try to portray her positivity every day. She taught me that being kind does not take much and you never know who it could impact. She has helped me become the person I am today, and I am forever grateful for her.

What happening this year? I want to end my high school volleyball career with a bang! One thing that makes this program stand out is that we all root for each other. We always have each others back with encouragement. COACHES CORNER: I will never forget when Coach Mathis fell on the floor playing defense and rolled! After High School, I plan to be a children’s therapist I would really like to thank my parents for always pushing me to be my very best. I would also like to thank my parents for teaching me how to glorify God through sports.
