While I may not be a player, I am fully invested in the team's journey. Building and embracing our memories is vital. Managing the Lady Tigers Volleyball team is a role I will always hold dear.

This team is so special because we’ve come together through our struggles and toughest moments. We have so much fun together and never judge each other for who we are. When someone is struggling—on or off the court—we are always there for one another, no matter our differences. My goals this year are to make this season feel unforgettable, go to state, win, and make those around me proud. I also want to show the younger girls that all the time, effort, and hours put in are completely worth it in the end. Something that has always kept me going is the reminder that you never know what you have until it’s gone. I strive to give my best every day and never take a single moment for granted. I will never forget looking at my mom in the hospital and saying, “I am dying,” and her telling me, “God’s got you.” Ever since then, I’ve been reminded that I’m a miracle, and I give all the credit to Him. Thank You, Lord, for giving me an incredible support system and for putting me through challenges, knowing I could overcome each and every one.

A major goal of mine this year is to make a deep playoff run. Since it’s my senior season, I’m more motivated than ever to play at my full potential and push through every challenge. Going to State is a huge goal for us, and my coaches and teammates inspire me to give my best every single day. I want to be there for my team just like they are for me. Our bond as a team is truly special—something I’ve never experienced in any other season. My goal for this year is to give my final season everything I’ve got. I want to pour my heart into this sport every single day—whether that means cheering my teammates on from the bench or putting away a big kill on the court. What keeps me grounded and mentally tough is knowing how determined I am and reminding myself of my own strength. I believe I can overcome any challenge. Right now, we’re facing a rough patch, but the connection we share makes me confident that we can flip the switch and become an incredible team. As for my role, I want to be a source of support—lifting my teammates up however I can. This team is special to me because we are bonded not just as teammates, but as a family who truly cares for one another. Our coaches have also made a huge impact on my life, always believing in me and pushing me to play my hardest. My goal this year is for our team to win the district title, and I believe we have what it takes to make a strong run in both district and playoffs. I love playing volleyball, but what I love most is playing with and for my teammates. I strive to be a positive influence on and off the court—someone my teammates can count on when the game gets intense or life feels heavy. My faith in God keeps me grounded through challenges, and I hope to share that strength and encouragement as we continue to grow closer—not just as a team, but as a family. What makes this team special is our coaching staff. They go above and beyond for us, fighting for us in every way possible and pushing us to reach our full potential. I’m truly proud to call them our coaches. My goal this year is to help my team succeed in any way I can. We are a group of talented athletes, and I know each of us has what it takes to go far in life—both on and off the court. Personally, I’m extremely competitive and take pride in reading the court well. This helps me step up in critical moments, especially when we hit a rough spot, so I can help get us back on track. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” I want to give a huge thank you to Coach Chavez. She has truly changed my life in the most positive way possible. Her guidance and coaching have shaped me into the player I am today, and I’ll always be grateful for that. SENIOR 2026 I also want to thank Coach Powell for always bringing laughter to the court—whether it’s with me or at me—and for delivering the cringiest dad jokes that somehow always make me laugh. I only wish I had more time with you both.

What makes this team special is our chemistry. We’re closer than family, and that connection helps us stay mentally in sync during games. My goals this year are to work hard and inspire my teammates to do the same. I want everything I do on and off the court to have purpose and meaning.
