GOOD DEEDS & NEEDS...THE GRABC

The Glen Rose Athletic Booster Club is dedicated to holding the highest standard of ethics and transparency and seeks to keep an upstanding relationship with the community. All board members, partners, and contributors are solely volunteer based. All monetary gains are fully invested into the organization and no asset, whether monies or property are profited to any individual associated with the GRABC. As a Booster Club, we proudly serve the greater cause. Scholarships, financial aid to athletic programs and non-athletic programs, and community events are the core cause of this organization. The GRABC provides an opportunity for graduating students to easily apply for scholarships that help further their future studies. Athletic programs seek the GRABC to help fund equipment, uniforms, and special recommendations are discussed, debated, and voted-on by the executive board members. The GRABC also holds events throughout the year to raise awareness, provide entertainment, and involve community spirit. The Glen Rose Athletic Booster Club has a laundry list of accomplishments that would take much more than a simple article to list, but we can name a few to brag about. Granted, this organization began small like any other. It has taken baby steps to get where we are now. We have had the honor to meet some of the few that started the GRABC and they are simply amazed to know how far along the club has come. Yes, it has taken years to accomplish this, but the largest achievement of the GRABC is that we are still here! This organization has made it through hard times and good times, thick and thin. It has survived the exchanging of hands, personalities, and perspectives. I'm sure it has seen its fair share of arguments and disagreements. What organization, business, or relationship wouldn’t? Yet it stood strong through it all. The ultimate goal for each set of board members is to hand it off to the next set of leaders in better condition than it was. Each time the exchange of leadership happens; this goal has been met. Growth is important within an organization and with growth comes a responsibility to manage. We are dedicated to keeping solid records, accurate finances, and documenting every step along the way to help keep the future of the GRABC knowledgeable of its past. We cannot speak for the past administrations six years prior, but we can acknowledge our recent accomplishments for you.
